Once you have scheduled surgery you will return to our office for a preoperative visit. You should have been guided on your initial visit to our web site where you can read the guides and consents based on the ASPS. You will again meet with your surgeon where your medical history will be reviewed and a brief physical exam will be conducted. The physician will discuss your procedure and make any last minute decisions that need to be made. The nurses will go over what to expect as well as before and after care. You will sign a consent form in the presence of the nurse authorizing permission for the procedure. They will also issue any prescriptions and give you instructions as to the time you need to arrive and approximate time of finish.
