Upstate Plastic Surgery recruited Karen in September of 2001. She studied nursing at Reinhardt College in Georgia, as well as Dekalb Technical Insitute. Karen brings a wealth of experience from prior employment at Paces Plastic Surgery Center in Atlanta, and the Voci Center and Spa in Charlotte. Karen assists our surgeons in the operating room and in the office. She is an excellent resource for patients who have undergone or are contemplating undergoing plastic surgery.

What is the Keller Funnel?
The Keller Funnel is an unique device that makes the insertion of silicone gel implants simple. Previously, silicone gel implants could only be done through a large incision. Now, because of the physicians of Upstate Plastic Surgery, implants may be inserted through a much smaller axillary *or* periareolar incision. In addition, the risk of infection and trauma to the implant is significantly decreased.
