Louisa received her nursing degree from Gardner Webb University and also studied education at Western Carolina University. She currently specializes in the skin care aspects of our practice, but also has experience in critical care. Louisa’s expertise include individualized skin care programs, laser facials, microdermabrasion, facial ultrasound, chemical peels and laser hair removal. Her results are impressive and a great asset to Upstate Plastic Surgery. Louisa is also the manager of Upstate Skin Care Center and Spa. What is the Keller Funnel?
The Keller Funnel is an unique device that makes the insertion of silicone gel implants simple. Previously, silicone gel implants could only be done through a large incision. Now, because of the physicians of Upstate Plastic Surgery, implants may be inserted through a much smaller axillary *or* periareolar incision. In addition, the risk of infection and trauma to the implant is significantly decreased.
